The Gross National Debt

HTS GOP is planning a get together at the Heights Grill 2206 Lee Rd. Cleveland Hts. on Monday, Sept. 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m This will be an informal connect, talk politics, meet new people evening. I have asked a few speakers to stop by and give us their thoughts on the upcoming election.

Lisa Stickan - National Chairman of the Young Republicans is just back from a speaking engagement at the Convention and will have lots to say! I have also asked Judge Pamela Barker running for re-election for the Common Pleas Court Cuyahoga Cty. and a recent a guest of the Nancy Grace television show.

This is a cash bar, casual open house, event. If successful I would like to have more frequent events such as this! Heights Grill is a local casual dining spot with parking next door and across the street behind the Cedar Lee Theater.

If you have an interest and can stop by please let me know so I can have some idea of how many may attend! Thanks, Bonnie Dolezal Chairman HTS GOP - 216-381-8775

In the coming months the Heights GOP will be partnering with other eastside Republican groups in order to serve a larger demographic of eastside Republicans.  We will be planning events over the coming months to get out the GOP message as well as inform and keep Republicans involved in this most important election.  Our goal will primarily be one of removing Barrack Obama as President and electing Josh Mandel to the US Senate.

Your support in these efforts will be crucial.  Many of our members have participated in various events sponsored in part, by our organization.  We have contributed to the annual picnic for the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, made contributions to Victory Centers for Bush/Cheney, John McCain, and in 2010 the Call center for Gov.Kasich and our Republican candidates. Heights Republicans have also been able to support our troops through our assistance to the annual Phone Cards for the Troops luncheon held each September, as well as sponsoring numerous candidate events.

It is for these reasons I am asking for your support once again.  We have been fortunate not have a need to ask for dues for several years.  This year unfortunately it will be necessary to ask for your contribution once again. Dues will be $15 per single and $25 per couple. This money will be used as in the past and also for postage when necessary to contact our members by mail.  Please make checks payable to Cleveland Heights Republicans and mail to the above address.

Thank you, and we look forward to a great victory in 2012 with your help!

Any questions please give me a call.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

NEWS - Shaker Heights

We are gathering momentum and beginning to participate constructively in the issues at the heart of our town. We believe that an important perspective has been missing from the debate over school funding and policies, a perspective that Republicans are best prepared to provide. I urge you to become a part of this process and this group, for the sake of our town and our party. Contact: Dan Cord, President, for further info 216.299.2451
